【设计意图】
这一环节是对学生进行阅读理解的训练,逐步提升学生的阅读水平。学生通过Skimming(略读),Scanning(找读),逐步了解掌握邀请信函的内容;3a是一个写作练习模板,该活动通过回答问题,让学生整体把握邀请函的格式、内容等,并复习相关短语,为后面的写作做准备。
Step 3:Writing
首先,让学生阅读一些写作范例。其次,要求学生阅读71页3b题目要求,小组讨论明确题意。然后,学生先各自根据3a以及之前积累的相关知识完成邀请函。最后,让学生在小组内交换自己的邀请函并答复同伴的邀请函。

1. Dear Miss Sun,
Are you free this Monday? We’re planning a New Year party at four in class 10. Some of my classmates will come to my party. We can have much fun at the party. Would you like to come? We do hope you could join us.

2. Dear Helen,
This is just a note to ask if you’re free on the weekend of 25th. It’s Mary’s wedding ceremony. It would be nice to have you at our village church. Can you get in touch?

Homework
1. 背诵3a中的短文。
2. 整理一下自己课堂上所写的邀请信及答复信,进行修改,然后写在作业本上。
