　　c. Look at the blue bird. Whose bird is it? It’s Mr and Mrs Li’s. It’s theirs.

　　4. Listen to the tape, then repeat

　　Play the cassette: Listen and say. The students listen and complete the sentences.

　　5. Let the students read the text. Then ask and answer in pairs:

　　A: What colour is Mr Tang’s bird? B: It’s white.

　　A: Whose bird is black? B: Grandma’s bird is black.

　　A: Whose bird is blue? B: Grandpa Cai’s bird is blue.

　　Step 3 Practice

　　1. Working in groups of five, the students practice the dialogue.

　　2. Invite a couple of groups to role-play the dialogue in front of the class.
