　　一、教学内容分析

　　本单元包括Unit16What’s the Wheather Like?;Unit17What Season Do You Like Best?和Unit18.Let’s Go Further.话题谈及天气和季节,学习What’s the weather like(in)…? What’s the temperature? What season do you like best?等语言知识.其中dialogue, work with language均为教学重点.本单元的部分语言知识已在口语第四册中出现过,学生对天气的知识已有初步的了解，但对有关天气和季节的句子还没真正理解。

　　二、教学对象分析

　　1、学生在口语第二册时已初步接触过与天气有关的内容，谈及天气的问题，可以与他们的生活实际联系起来，但天气预报是一项很专业的知识，对学困生来说可能比较难理解。

　　2、有规律的单词比较学生容易接受，例如snowycloudy ainysunnywindy等都是表示天气的，它们都有y结尾。而有一些词同样表示天气，但没有以y结尾，如coldwethotdry等，这些单词同时使用起来会有难度，需要在整体对话中、话题学习中慢慢感知，不能急于掌握。

　　三．教学目标

　　1.语言知识

　　A. Words about the weather and seasons..

　　B. What’s the weather like(today) ? What’s the weather like in…?

　　It’s cold/wet/windy/snowy/cloudy. /What season do you like best? Spring./Summer./Autumn./Winter.

　　C. The dialogues about the weather and the seasons.

　　2.语言技能

　　A.掌握四会单词28个，三会单词6个。（详见各课时的教学目标）

　　B.能正确理解并运用以上句型。

　　C.能理解对话，并连贯朗读，语音、语调和停顿基本正确，基础好的学生能表演对话。

　　D. 能唱歌曲和歌谣。

　　3.情感态度

　　A.通过谈及天气的话题，培养学生观察天气的能力，并学会留意每天的天气。

　　B.通过学习，激发学生的兴趣、自信心和合作精神，使他们在语言技能实践的过程中逐步形成主动参与、乐于探索的学习态度。

　　C. 通过关于天气的学习，能联系我番禺的本土特色，在实践过程中形成关心身边事物的良好习惯。

　　4.学习策略

　　A.充分利用书中的插图、歌曲、歌谣、游戏等资源，寓教于乐，优化课堂教学。

　　B.对话采用情景教学，联系生活实际。

　　C.单词量大、多，应指导学生以整体的同类进行忆记。

　　E. 次要的语言要点教学应有别于主要句型，不必详细分解，应放在整体对话中理解，慢慢感知。

　　5．文化意识

　　通过学习，了解其它著名城市与广州市天气的差异，特别是番禺天气情况与外地天气的差异。

　　四．教学重点

　　1． 本单元的四会词汇，以提问的句型及对话教学。

　　2． 理解天气与季节相关对话，并能运用所学词句作简单的天气预报。

　　五．教学难点

　　1．正确地说出每天的天气情况以及当天的温度。

　　2．词汇多、长。

　　3． 对话中的语言点。

　　天气图片、单词图片、温度计图、单词卡、VCD(金太阳)
