三只小猪学英语第40集：第一只小猪的学生参加英语角

　　The first little pig has an English school. The name of the school is Three Little Pigs English School. It is a very good school. Young people come to the school to study English. Some of them are 14 or 15. Some of them are 16 or 17. Others are 18 or 19. They are very good students. They study very hard. Their teachers 都是通过the first little pig亲自面试择优录用的young teachers. They are twenty-five or twenty-six years old. They can speak beautiful English. And they work very hard. They like their students and their students like them too.

　　第一只小猪有一所英语学校。学校的名字叫三只小猪英语学校。学校很棒。很多年轻人都来这学习。一些十四五岁，一些十六七岁，另外一些是十八九岁。他们都是好学生。他们学习很用功。老师们都是通过第一只小猪亲自面试择优录用的年轻老师。他们二十五六岁。他们能说一口漂亮的英语。他们工作也很努力。他们喜欢他们的学生，学生也喜欢他们。

　　One afternoon, the first little pig comes to the teachers'office to tell them there is an English corner this evening. 他说，“A lot of the foreigners from the US, the UK, Canada, 澳大利亚，and 新西兰will come to the English corner. You should tell your students to go to the English corner. They should talk with foreigners in English.” The students from the Three Little Pigs English School都很有自信心，讲话的声音很响亮，发音也很准，but they don't know跟foreigners讲话应该特别注意些什么。One boy student is talking with a young woman from the UK. The boy student asks the young woman, "How old are you?" The young woman只是微笑，没有回答。The boy student又接着问，“Are you married?”这下the young woman可受不了了，she is very angry, 她说，“我是不是married与你有什么关系，拜拜。”说完，she goes away. The boy student傻呆呆地站在那，he cannot understand how come the foreigner 没有回答他的question就go away.

　　一天下午，第一只小猪来到老师们的办公室，告诉他们晚上有个英语角。他说，许多来自美国，英国，加拿大，澳大利亚和新西兰的外国人都会来英语角。你们应该告诉你们的学生去英语角。他们应该跟老外讲讲英语。三只小猪学校的学生都很有自信息，讲话的声音很响亮，发音也很准，但是他们不知道跟外国人讲话应该特别注意些什么。一位男学生和一位来自英国的年轻女性聊天，男学生问道，“你几岁了啊？”年轻女性只是微笑，没有回答，男学生又接着问，“你有没有结婚啊？”这下年轻女性可受不了了。她非常生气，她说，我是不是结婚了关你什么事啊，再见。说完，她就走了。男学生傻呆呆地站在那，他不明白为什么外国人没有回答他的问题就走了。

　　One girl student is talking with an old woman from the US. The girl为了夸奖the old woman,就说，“Granny, you are very, very old. You are much older than my granny. How old are you?”听到这话，the old woman is very angry. 她生气地说，“I'm not very old. I can come to China myself. I don't understand how come you ask me this question. Bye bye”说完，she goes away. The girl傻呆呆地站在那儿发愣。Her mouth is open, but she cannot speak. She cannot understand how come the foreigners are如此不礼貌。她说，“我说她是长寿老人，比my granny还长寿，又问她今年高寿，how come she is angry?" The girl怎么也想不通。

　　有一个女学生和一位来自美国的老太太在聊天，女学生为了夸奖老太太，就说，“奶奶，您好老啊，您比我奶奶还要老，您几岁了啊？”听到这话，老太太很生气，她生气地说，我不老，我能独自来中国。我不明白你怎么会问我这种问题。再见。说完，她就走了。女孩傻呆呆地站在那儿发愣。她嘴巴张开着，但是她说不出话来。她不明白为什么外国人如此不礼貌。她说，我说她是长寿老人，比我奶奶还长寿，又问她今年高寿，她为什么会生气呢？ 女孩怎么也想不通。

　　还有一个girl student is talking with a tall man from Canada. The man对她说，“You are very beautiful.” 听到这话，the girl连忙说，“No no no, I'm not
　　beautiful.”The man cannot understand her. 明明是very beautiful, 怎么非要说自己not beautiful? The girl asks, "What's your job?" "I'm a doctor." "Oh, a
　　doctor? You must make a lot of money. How much money do you make every month in Canada? " 听到这话，the man楞住了，他万万没有想到，a Chinese girl 会这样ask question. 他说了声拜拜转身就go away.

　　还有一个女生和一位来自加拿大的高个子男人在聊天。男人对她说，“你很漂亮。”听到这话，女孩连忙说，不不不，我不漂亮。男人很不理解她。明明是漂亮的，怎么非要说自己不漂亮呢？ 女生问，你是做什么的啊？我是一位医生。哦，医生啊，那你一定赚很多钱咯，在加拿大你一个月赚多少啊？听到这话，男人愣住了，他万万没有想到，一个中国女生会这样问问题，他说了声拜拜转身就走了。

　　第二天morning, the first little pig comes into the classroom with an English teacher, a woman teacher. The students一看到校长come into the classroom都有点紧张。The first little pig asks,"Do you like the English corner? " Only four students 回答no. 他们都是昨天evenig跟foreigners谈话不欢而散的学生。The other students都回答说，“Yes.” The first little pig asks the four students, "How come you don't like the English corner." 于是，the four students就各自把自己在English corner不愉快的经历描述了一遍，the first little pig说，难怪the foreigners说you know how to speak English, but you don't know how to talk with foreigners in English. Do you know there're some questions you should not ask foreigners?

　　第二天早上，第一只小猪来到教室，和一位英语老师一起，是一位女老师。学生们看到校长来到教室都有点紧张。第一只小猪问，“你们喜欢英语角吗？”只有四个学生回答了不喜欢，他们都是昨天晚上和外国人谈话不欢而散的学生。另外的学生都回答说喜欢。第一只小猪问了四位学生，“你们为什么不喜欢英语角？”于是，四位学生就各自把自己在英语角的不愉快经历描述了一遍，第一只小猪说，难怪外国人说你们知道怎么讲英语，但是不知道如何跟外国人讲英语。你们知道吗，有一些问题你们是不能问外国人的。首先，不应该问年龄，特别是跟女性聊天的时候。第二个要注意的问题是不能问你们结婚了吗。第三个要注意的问题是不能问别人赚多少钱，要不然外国人会觉得你不懂礼貌，不懂规矩。另外，当外国人夸奖你时，最好的回答是谢谢。听完第一只小猪的话，学生们都明白了如何跟外国人更好的讲英语。
